    BOWLING PIN MATCH

At this point (Tuesday Evening) some of the weather reports say slight chance of scattered showers on Saturday,
while others are saying partly sunny.

So, we should/could/might be shooting bowling pins this month.
If not, we'll set up the bowling pin plate racks to shoot from under the roof.
(No it won't be like Friday Night Steel - much less involved)

I'll be there at 8am to set up.

We start shooting shortly after 8:30.

Please note: Last month we had 30 to 35 shooters show up.
I have increased the bracket to handle 32 shooters.
In the past a shooter could wander in late and still get into a bracket,
lately, the brackets have been filling up quickly.

Next month July 25, 2009, we will have our annual pitch in picnic after the match.
Bowling pins will provide the brats and italian sausages, individuals bring salads and other stuff.
    Its usually a nice feast.

We had a nice manageable match today.
    Only 16 shooters.
Except for the administrative blunders I made in the first bracket, it ran much smoother than recent matches.
Imagine that, it moved much quicker with half the people in attendance.

Next month (July 25) we will have a pitch-in picnic after the match.
Bowling Pins provides brats and sausages simmered in beer and onions, then grilled. Participants bring the rest. Its usually quite a feast.

If you have been thinking about attending an entry level action shooting event, consider participating next month.

    Caution:
"The Sturgeon General has indicated that bowling pin shooting can be addictive"
