Books for firearms enthusiasts

I love to read, and I find it especially enjoyable when an author has an appreciation for firearms. Do you have any book recommendations (mostly interested in fiction, but non-fiction recommendations are okay too) in which guns and gun owners are portrayed realistically and with respect?

I'll go first; anything by Stephen Hunter is pretty good. The two Jack Carr books I've read so far have been good.
