I haven't seen one yet and I'm out all the time from oct-mar. I hunt Knox, Gibson, & Daviess co's. I keep looking though. Can't wait till there is an open season on them.
I've never seen one in person myself but I've seen their tracks.
A few years back they DNR had collars on a few in the southern part of the state. Based on the tracks I saw it looks like one was spending a fair amount of time on my in-laws property. I hope to spot one.
A GUY I WORK WITH HAS BEEN SAYING HE SEES A BOBCAT WHEN HE DEER HUNTS. WE HAVE BEEN KIDDING HIM FOR A FEW YEARS. I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO TELL HIM ABOUT ALL THESE SIGHTINGS AND LET HIM OFF THE HOOK
I lived at a gravel pit a few years ago and I normally walked the propety for stress releif while in college. Usally carry at least one gun. Came across a track that looked like a cat print but was way to big to be anything I ever saw. Guessed the only thing that could make it was a bobcat. Never did see one yet.
