What's even more screwy is that at that match last year he won the whole thing, Open and Limited division shooting a Glock 34 with iron sights.

Yes
each stage has a set amount of time, you are scored on how many pieces of steel knocked down, extra shoots after the buzzer take away a knocked down steel

The speed shotgun matches at Atlanta are run on the same format. More steel than you can knock down in the time you're given. Tons of fun.
