I actually did some searching and found that you can order a newer style 10mm slide with the newer style sights

Agreed! Or somebody might have an outrageous deal, but they have a total of 2 in stock that will last a minute and ten seconds...maybe. I guess I shouldn't complain too much! I'm thankful for what I have!
