We buy the 40# bags of mix from Menards, or if we are in the area, Jakes on 49 about 10 miles s of Valpo. Living in the country none goes to waste. We do not have bird feeder, we have wildlife feeders as they are visited daily by numerous varieties of birds, squirrels, rabbits, deer and turkey. Have also seen on rare occasions a possum. I’m sure others nocturnal animals also visit. We have two good size feeders, 2 suet feeders and year round bird bath. In the summer we have one Niger seed feeder for the finch and the hummer feeders. One thing I read about sunflower seed is that an accumulation of the hulls will kill vegetation. The one turkey picture has a temporary small feeder hung while I was making a new feeder seen in the other picture that is more coon proof after they got the feeder off the hooks and broke it when it hit the ground.
