Just talked to a good friend of mine and he said he was staring at this thread trying to decide.....Definitely would give up the alcohol. Guns are too important.

I quit drinking on May 22, 2010. In the year leading up to that day I spent over $5,000 on booze. In the years before that is was around $3,000. Now I spend $0 on booze and around $3,000 on guns...my gun budget before I quit drinking was only around $1,000 a year...
So I'm money ahead, and my collection is growing
