I’m looking for a person or group to help me learn to hunt. I have a backpacking background so I am equipped for general woods travel and such. I am proficient with pistols rifles and shotguns. But I have no training or experience hunting anything. I’d like to set out for this years rabbit season but I don’t really know where to start and would prefer not to kill an animal carelessly or wastefully because of my total lack of knowledge and experience. Eventually I’d like to work my way up to deer, but I don’t have a chest freeze so I’m starting small.
