Has anyone on this forum ever had a barrel nitrided? I havent and dont know anyone who has done it after the fact (instead of buying a gun with it already done). I like the concept as I am a big fan of chromed barrels. However, as we all know, if a chromed barrel isnt offered in what youre looking for, youre screwed in that area. From what Ive read, nitriding can be done to precision barrels without any ill effects and actually makes them last longer. Anybody have any experience?
