A blind pinned one is threaded, too. Just has a pin stuck in the threads, then welded over. Looks like a pain to get it off, if you wanted to.

Ya. I want to switch out my flashhider for a threaded one but I'm gonna have to find a class 3 dealer

Id just go with a new upper if I were you. 14.5" isnt worth SBR'ing, and you shouldnt need an SOT to do that anyways. Well, and you obviously are gonna have to wait a few years.:):

I took almost a year, but my first build is finally complete.

    Stag Arms Lower and LPK
    PSA 14.7'' Hammer-Forged Chrome-Lined Mid-length upper
Pinned and welded A2 Flash Hider
Magpul MOE Furniture in Foliage Green
    Magpul MBUS
    BCM Buffer Tube and Spring
    Spike's Tactical ST-T2 Heavy Buffer

    IKICKHIPPIES SLAP Plate

    Future Plans
Sling - I need one ASAP
    Ammo - always
    More pmags
Optic - Probably a Vortex Strikefire from 42769vette
Quad rail - although I like how light the magpul hangaurds are.
Light - I have a cheap NCStar for now, but I'd like a Surefire Scout.
Another upper - some kind of precision setup, not sure yet.

Bad photo, but you get the idea. PSA upper, essential arms lower, and magpul furniture. I have a quad rail for it, but, being a 14.5" the flash hider is pinned and welded so I need to get a two piece gas block for it before I can put the sucker on.

why dont u just sell your free float and get a 2 piece rail system?

My first AR build; Surplus Ammo lower, CMMG LPK, Del-Ton 16" upper, and the usual Magpul accessories. Mrs. Pipman's is a S&W M&P 15-22 with some hot pink paint and some "Girlie Bling" as she calls it.

Yes, those are rhinestones in the stock.:dunno:

    damn...why can't I insert a pic?

    :(

It took me a bit to figure out. I went to UserCP and selected the link on the left side of the screen, labeled something like "pictures" or "album". Then I created an album and inserted a picture. The URL will be displayed in a text box below the picture just added. I just copied that link and came here to post a reply and clicked the little icon up top of the reply box with a mountain and a sun on it and pasted the link I just copies. I'm sure there is an easier way to do it, but that's how I got it figured out. Hope it helps.
