Wanted a back to basics rifle, so I grabbed myself a colt and a TA33 for it.

This is my second acog I have, and I've tried them all. I think this little TA33 is my favorite.

While it's only 3x magnification, I can cleanly see my hits on paper with it at 100m, which is absolutely ridiculous. I'm a little torn on whether the crosshair reticle in green was the right way to go or not as the low light performance is pretty bad compared to fatter reticles in acogs, but wowza is it nice for the range.

Redressed the 6920 this morning. Replaced carbine length guard with new mlok VISM extended guard. Added light and bipod. A bit on the meaty side, but not too heavy for some running and gunning.

Primary triad Colt M6940 set up now--new stock, new pistol grip, rail panels, TD broomstick, ALG-ACT trigger, BCM ambi charging handle and Tri TR24, 1-$X.

    I call range weekend!

Carbine shoots well, even with 193s. Trijicon optic is outstanding. Crystal clear glass.

1 to just under 1.5" at 100. Very happy. Will try it with heavy projectiles after I get back from Atterbury next month.

Contingency triad carbine (restructuring fighting carbines to triads following PACE) set up tonight--Phantom flash suppressor, Armalite Upper, Smith Lower, ALG-ACT trigger, BCM (Med), Magpul grip and trigger guard, CTR stock, Primary Arms 2.5X (when they had that big sale).
