I bought a P-11 in 1999. It shoots great and I still carry it. I also have a P3AT that I pocket carry in the summer. I looked at the PF9, but liked the feel of the P-11 better.

The Sig P365 got sooo much press when it came out, but the P-11 did that back in 1995. If it was striker-fired instead of hammer, it might still be around.
I had a P-11 as well. Picked it up at KS&E over on the east side. Solid gun - kinda wish I still had it. That trigger was a beast but was a pretty solid gun IMO.

PF-9 was my first carry piece after getting my Lifetime Permit in 2007. Bought it based upon price point and recommendation from a friend of mine who had one.

Very uncomfortable to shoot, then it started stove-piping non-stop after a couple hundred rounds.

Dumped it at a gun show, bought a Ruger LC9, then a Ruger LC9s...still carry LC9s to this day. My friend still has his, says it shoots fine for him.

Probably could’ve solved that with new recoil springs that cost damn near nothing. I’ve bought plenty of spare parts for this gun and intend to keep it until it’s literally beyond maintaining.

    I carry a P365 but I still have a PF9.
I found a good deal on one with a nickel (I think) slide right here on INGO.
I had a P11 back in the day and that was the mostest awfulest trigger ever.
Sold it and bought an LCP with a nickel slide.

I am a Kel Tec Fan, I guess.
They do remind of Ruger before they got to be a huge corporation.
(I still love my Rugers, too)
