My only problem with this site, is that there are literally dozens, if not hundreds of them pushing the same thing. I want to buy a few but I'm pretty certain if I buy more than one I'll end up with pretty much the same thing.

That and 30+$ for an ebook is stupid expensive. Ebook should cost about the same or a little less than a print book, so 15-20 Tops...

Looks like my fears were founded, same company at plenty of different sites selling 90% the same stuff. (or different companies each ripping each other off to run the same scam...)

You can never have to much information...I like books, because if the grid ever goes down, I still have my information. I have printed off things that I want to keep and put them in a binder.

I agree, I hate tons of books and field manuals and articles printed. So much I'm starting to have to box them up and put in storage, and keeping more and more at the BOL.

But the PDF I bought really doesn't lend itself to being printed without great expense. It is very 'hokey' looking, like someone threw together cut and paste articles from all over the net and then put full page picture backgrounds on each page. Very hard to read and would probably use a full cartridge or two of ink.

I looked for the receipt but my quick search didn't turn it up, I think I paid somewhere between 40-50 for it. It wasn't worth my initial investment, knowing now I'd maybe pay $10-15 for a printed copy, but you can find better resources printed already for much cheaper.

I think that COMMUNITY is something overlooked the most. Lets be honest, how many people can live on their own for 6 months in this country, out in the middle of no where(the answer is alot) but if the the real SHTF then where will you go to escape the rounding up of everyone? Its gonna take a large community of like minded people capable of defending themselves from the bad stuff. This is something i think we are totally unprepared for. Yeah we can prep BOB's but long term means COMMUNITY, we need lots of people banding together to really last long term. JMHO

And another FYI/FWIW I just clicked a banner add on a different site that took me to this website. I'm on my work computer and it blocked it as a "Malicious Site", this is the first site I've ever gone to that was BLOCKED with no click through or ignore capability, many will have warnings but none blocked. (heck just for giggles i tried playboy and penthouse .com and just got a little warning that I can click through...)
