I would say it has more potential use as a spud gun.

You can make one from a dog trainning dummy launcher if you felt the need to do so. May not be as cool but a LOT cheaper.

What is the point? If you want the loud bang, and good accuracy, just use a real gun. I doubt you could use this in "archery season" because its not archery equipment. Its a firearm.
