Anyone been to the Columbus zoo?

Has anyone ever been to the Columbus zoo? If so, is it worth the trip? I was thinking of taking the family there.

Its pretty good. Good enough JUST to drive there for a day trip? I dont think so. But its worth it if you do other stuff as part of the trip. (USAF museum, COSI, etc.)

Never been myself, but I have heard it's definitely worth it.

There is a series on Disney+ called Secrets of the Zoo that follows the staff and animals there. Just based on that it seems like a pretty amazing place.

They also have another location called "The Wilds" that is more of a safari type experience, but it's not in Columbus. Closer to Zanesville I think.

How does it compare to the Cincinnati zoo?
I was leaning towards Columbus just because of Dinosaur Island.

I think we may just go to the Cincinnati zoo and hit the Newport aquarium instead.
