...the mobile command units (humvees) coming out of Camp Atturberry today?

I noticed two of them set up (road block style, but not in the lane of traffic) at the entrace of hwy 65 north @ hwy 46 west in Columbus.

I also noticed about 2-3 of them coming out of the camp this evening heading south.

They had cellular / sat up-link antenna on their tops.

Tin foil hat time or getting ready for marshal law time or????

    :dunno:

I saw a convoy INSIDE Bloomington a little over a month ago of those Strykers. Was a sight to see! And, yes, Martial Law was the first thing I thought too...

The onramp at 65 north, IN THE MEDIAN, is the dam funniest place to find grilled Wendy Burgers my friend.

Well they obviously found them at the Wendys.

Then they parked in the median on their way back to eat their fries before they got cold.

OR, they were trying to figure out the best way to implode the bridge. . .

I worked at Wendy's for seven years, four of those as a store manager. I started there as a kid because I always loved the food, but the fries have always (and I mean always*) been nasty. They're nasty when they're fresh and they get nastier as they congeal.

Still love the food. Still hate the fries.

/fries may be made edible by dipping them in a Frosty

*ETA: There was a two week period when the company switched from animal shortening to vegetable shortening for cooking. In between the two, all they could get was peanut oil. They were fantastic then.

    Civil Defense Training.

My unit has pushing this for the last few years.
We just finished training at Lebanon Correctional with the CS Gas and Batons.
Part of the training is "Helping" the Local LEOs w/possible Katrina Events or prison riots.
You can check it out thru Youtube and other such sites.

Well, in keeping with the tin foil hat theme, does "Katrina Events" mean practicing to disarm American citizens?

Mostly practice pushing people back and cuffing and stuffing. Does that count?

I personally am not too thrilled about the idea of doing this to our people.
If it came down to the "Brass Tacks" I would not take part in this.
Hope enough people follow suite when/if this ever came about.

Sometimes people need stuffed and cuffed.. they don't always act right when SHTF. Personally I hope you DO take part if Yellowstone ever pops. We'll all need you, and you'll know what's right and wrong.

Now, please excuse me while I wrap the foil from the Wendy's burger around my head.

    Just so everyone knows....
Indiana now has the "premier" Urban Training Center at Muscatatuck near Butlerville.
Millions & Millions have been spent upgrading the facility in the past few years.
Military & Law Enforcement from all over come to Indiana now for training.
Operations include co-ops with Crane NSWC & Camp Atterbury.
So no need to freak out when you see lots of troops moving around south of Indy.
There have even been training exercises recently that included deploying Marines into some industrial areas of Indy.
Lots of training going on and most is related to overseas deployment.
