Added this awhile back. Shiloh Sharps 45-70 with a 34” barrel and wood so purty pics don’t do it justice. Now to learn how to load proper ammo loaded with the Holy Black for this one and the hard part will be finding a proper place to stretch it out and learn how to shoot it.

    Beautiful rifle.

Look into books by Paul Matthew's for starters. And another good book is Black Powder Cartridge Reloading Primer by Steve Garby.

Forget everything you know about smokeless and start fresh. It's an interesting journey. If you want to use cast I have a few different 45 cal rifle molds.
The main one I use is a Steve Brooks 520 grain postell in my highwalls.

Thank you gentlemen!! I appreciate the compliments. Yeah I will look into those books and look at starting from scratch as far as hand loading for it. Hopefully my schedule will settle down so I can do so and enjoy it. Again thanks :)

I have a book on loading for black powder if you want it! I took mine to bass and bucks in Wabash to shoot, which was a long way to find out the barrel was leaded up and needed a deep clean!
