YOU CAN'T HAVE MY KIDS, GOVERNMENT

Well...I mean you can have them for maybe half of their waking hours, maybe more. I need the free babysitting and don't feel like training them myself. So you go ahead and train them, government, but they're still mine!

This is the same as the "it takes a village" nonsense from Hillary Clinton.

But remember that both "Community" and "Communism" come from the same root word.

Of course "communism" doesn't sell very well these days as there are still enough of us around to remember what that really means, even "socialism" isn't all that marketable. But "progressive", now that sounds like something you'd want to be a part of, right?

If this woman's views were isolated to her and a sorry few like her, it would be no big deal. But this is a pervasive attitude now in "education", government, and even many families.

This should scare the hell out of you since we now have generations of young people who have been through this indoctrination.

It goes beyond just the attitude in the "educational industrial complex." ;) There have been several court rulings that have essentially stripped parents of their authority to determine what's best for their children when it comes to educational choices. Granted, SCOTUS has historically ruled for the parent, but I'm not inclined to rely on history from that branch of government anymore. And for those people who live within the boundaries of the lower courts, those rulings are the law of the land now.

I can't remember the details, but one ruling actually used the language that parental authority ceased to exist at the school threshold. How's that for all those INGOers who think they're just gonna march on in to the principal's office and tell them how it's going to be? :n00b:
