I shot my kimber ultra carry from a rest, and consistently hit the target at 2 o'clock(from 7 yards). The gun has fixed low profile sights. Can these be adjusted? If so, how?

If its not an issue with your grip or trigger squeeze. The rear sight can be drifted over slightly to adjust R/L impact.

Now this is what I was just told at Elmores and it sounds backwards to me so if its incorrect someone please let me know. You tap the rear sight over in the same direction you want the bullet strike to move.

It seems that if you wanted to move the impact to the left you would tap the sight to the right but they said that is incorrect...

Actually that make sense. If you moved in the same direction it would put you farther off target....what should i used to tap it? i believe they are staked in...does this matter.

I have trijicons on mine and there is a small allen screw securing them that must be loosed first...

Nope I just checked with several other members and Elmores is correct. to move point of impact right you move the rear sight to the right....

That's correct left = left right = right on the REAR sight.

ALSO please note - Kimber sights are TIGHT. If you can't get it to
budge very easily take it to a smith with a sight pusher.
