    Hiding from reality
I should never post this, but I have had a really bad week! I am sitting here, drunker than all get out, after doing three veterans day ceremonies, alone, and wishing I had my friends with me. Don't get me wrong, I have three that are still kicking, and we do a lot together, but Mike, T, Don, Hershey, and Paul were some of the best that I ever had. My wife, wanted nothing other than sex tonight, because I was in uniform. Go figure!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love her to death, but I was sitting in the gulf with sand in the crack of my a** when she was 8 years old, so she doesn't have a clue what life is. I guess I am getting fracking old. Anyone else with me?

So, you have a young wife who wants to have sex while you're drunk? Relax and enjoy. My words to all Vets are; Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13) Thank You for Your Service and Be Blessed!

This year, at the Conner Prairie Fourth of July concert, a young man in uniform shook my hand and thanked me for my service.
First time I had been personally thanked.
    Got something in my eye...

Were all in for a really bad day once in a while. I served in Vietnam and still have one occasionally. Be thankful that you have a loving young wife and friends and thank you for your service.
It's good to get it out so I see your post as a very positive thing.
    God Bless
