For those of you who like them......... I present to you a 1938 Tula 91/30 DDR (East German) Mosin refurb. Stamped matching with prefixes. Nice bore. I think she's a pretty girl!

Very nice. They kind of grow on you after awhile.

Some people really hate the magazine sticking down ahead of the trigger and think that makes Mosins butt-ugly. I have had to tell more than one person that I didn't ask for their opinion on Mosin beauty, so I didn't understand why they offered theirs to me (an obvious owner of a Mosin). Personally I think it makes them very easy to spot amongst other rifles at a show or store! It is a very unique look and it does grow on you after a while, especially when that is the feature you are looking for! :-)

Thanks guys! It was a fairly local pickup at On Target in Kalamazoo MI. Supposedly they bought a few crates of DDR 91/30s a few months ago.
