A new processing code specific to gun and ammo retailers is being implemented by the credit card industry. Surprisingly (at least to me) the big credit card companies pushed back but our old friend Elizabeth Warren stepped in to help with getting it approved.
I tried to think about the different ways this data could be misused but lost count. At best your (credit card) spending on guns and ammo will be tracked and flagged if found to be "suspicious".
