IMHO it is the only SAFE place in the state where you can shoot 50 bmg w/ very few exceptions.

Most ranges won't take it due to liability. I've read where that head will do some nasty, unintended things inside of 200 yds.

North Coast Shooters have at least a few events every year at Camp Perry, Thunder Valley and Fort Knox - depending on where you are at in the state - all can be a reasonable drive. Events
