I'm in need of something that still has many years left in it, without major repairs. I've been looking on Craigslist, but everything in my price range moves too fast (~$3000). I would like to have a mechanic look it over before any deal is made, but that seems next to impossible on CL.
What my wife wants:
Automatic so she can drive (this is a must)
~170,000 or less miles
What I want:
4x4
Preferably Ford, but open to others.
Would like to stay around $3000, but willing to spend more if in good shape.
Don't care what year. Late '80s to mid/late 90's is what I have been looking at.
Don't know if I'll get any bites here, but worth a shot.
