223 load data

i loading bulk ammo for a ar. i dont need sub moa accuracy. i bought 55 gr hornady soft points and acurate 2230 powder last weekend. the problem is i cant find a starting load in any of my books (including hornady) does anyone have one in there book they could look up for me.

Have you checked the load data at Accurate's website? Somewhere between 23.5 and 24 is where you need to be.

ya i went to accruates web site and found nothing. i was pretty disapointed. all the other manufacuters ive found have had info

No problem, anymore, I just type what I want into a Google search bar instead of trying to find it on a website. Sometimes you can find stuff the manufacturer thinks they've taken down.

I use 23.6gr of AA2230 at 2.220" for target.

i bought some fmj bullets today. i couldn't find sp will that change anything as far as powder

Keep in mind, data in most cases, is for .223 and not the higher pressure of 5.56 if it is to be used in a Mil-spec rifle.

shouldnt as long as you are not pushing anything to near max.... 55 grain fmj and 55 grain jsp should share the same load data.
