Recently acquired a Charger, which will be my first rimfire firearm.

It will have a suppressor, and was wondering if the Charger prefers or doesn’t like any type of specific ammo in that configuration?

I don’t want to buy a few thousand rounds and find out it doesn’t like it, so was curious if anyone with experience with the Charger specifically could share success and fail stories with the ammo they used.

Can't speak for the can. But never had any issues with any Ruger .22
It will like some better than others. but not like so many of the recent .22 pistols its basically a sawed off rifle (with proper documentation

If you're going to put a can on it, get some CCI subsonic (either lead or Clean 22) for best performance through a 10/22 platform. Other sub ammo I've shot has been hit or miss. It's a 1cpr more expensive but it works.

Never had issues with CCI or federal bulk hp ammo, though the latter is harder to find now. I have used other ammo in 10/22 platforms like aquila, remington thunderbolt, etc. I can't say I've had consistent issues with those, I just like CCI offerings more.
In rimfire pistols anything other than CCI or federal seems to cause malfunctions somewhat regularly.
There is a reason 10/22 platforms are so ubiquitous; they just work.
