22 Long Range Rifle at RCC Wed May 8

RCC will be hosting a mid week rifle match on Wed May 8. Start time will be 5:30pm. If you can't quite get there on time, we can let the locals fill the first relay and then add to subsequent relays. Fortunately, sunset deadline is 8:49pm.

Format will be "20 Straight".

Gary & Bill will run this match. Target pickup and recap/awards meeting to immediately follow. Lewis style payback based on attendance.

Adults $15
Stand alone juniors $10
Juniors with paid adult- free

A bag or bipod to shoot off of and some ammunition. Hearing and eye protection. Great for entry level shooters.

Third Saturday of each month is scheduled. We also throw in a weeknight match about half way between the Sat matches. Weeknight matches have scheduling variables and are posted here sometimes on short notice.

Outside of a .22 Cal rifle, what is needed to participate?

Newbies shoot at 75, 110, & 165 yards. A bit of prep at those distances is advisable, but you always get a brief zero period.
