Cleaning out the garage...and need to get rid of some stuff:
2005 Kia Sorento EX 4x4
Miles: 147,200 (80% highway miles)
Title: Clean and Clear
Condition: Good
Specs: V6 Automatic, 4x4, Alloy Wheels, Power sunroof, power driver seat, heated front seats, leather, 6disc CD changer.
Pros: The vehicle is super clean for 9 years old. My wife was fairly meticulous and had it washed at least twice per month and oil changed every 3k-5k. The exterior is in great shape with no major dings, no rust, just normal wear. The interior is great for 9 years old, no rips or tears in the leather, and some normal spills/carpet stains from the kids and coffee. All basic maintenance completed at proper intervals, and this thing has been more reliable than my newer cars.
Cons: Will need new tires relatively soon. Does occasionally smell like its burning some oil during long idle (think warming up in the winter in the driveway), although no leaks to the floor. I am not a mechanic so have no idea. Otherwise I could consider this in "Great" condition for the year, but because of these two items I consider it "Good".
Description from CarGurus: The 2005 Kia Sorento EX 4WD comes with low-range gearing, a limited slip rear differential, skid plates, and part-time driver-engaged four-wheel drive for optimum off-roading. The mid-sized Sorento EX 4WD and its maximum 66 cubic feet of cargo space (with the split-folding rear seats down) and roof rack allow you to carry you adventure accessories with you. A 192-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine and 5-speed Sportmatic power the Sorento.
Inside, the 2005 Sorento EX 4WD comes with an 8-way power driver's seat, wheel-mounted audio controls for the CD player, cruise control, full power features, intermittent front and rear wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, foglights, and a garage opener remote. Luxury touches include leather and wood accents and a power sunroof. Dual front and front and rear side airbags are standard and more luxury can be added with heated leather seats, a CD changer, and dual-zone climate control. Easy handling, an affordable price, comfortable interior, and quality styling are high points for owners.
Dealer Blue Book is $7,400
Private Party Blue Book is $5,800
Avg Kia price with similar options within 100 miles - $7,500
Asking $5,000 for INGO members.
Will consider partial trade (up to $1500) for Glock(s) in 40S&W, great condition Stihl or Dolmar Chainsaws. Not really interested in anything else.
Can be seen in person in Central Indiana. Pic's can be found here:
