I’ve got a rack grade CMP Springfield M1 Garand up for sale/trade. It’s a Feb/March 1945 serial number, so it’s your chance to own a reliable (but not very accurate) piece of US history. I shot two clips out of it when I first got it a couple years back, enough to “zero” it in as much as possible at 25 yards. The barrel is pretty well worn out at this point, but the 16 rounds I put through it were flawlessly reliable getting me about 16moa and easily hitting an 8.5x11” piece of printer paper every time. (I know, not very impressive).
It will come with everything pictured plus a hard CMP case. With the right deal I’ll attach a USGI sling if you want.

I figure the cash price/trade value is about $800.
I‘m only selling it because I want something more usefully accurate.
All trade interests could be with cash on your end or mine depending on what you have.
Trade interests would include but not be limited to:
Most decent full size (or at least mid size) modern 9mm pistols, AK-47 variants, non bubba’d Sks, M1A or better M1 Garand (cash on my end), M1 carbine, maybe a lever rifle, Taurus PT 92/99, Colt Python, Swiss K31, AR-10, Benelli M4 with cash from me,
or silver bullion. I’m in NWI ish near 1-65 and Rt. 10, about an hour north of Lafayette. I’ll travel slightly for the right deal.
