I've head mixed reviews on the Taurus PT1911. Most of the bad reviews seem to be from 1-4 years ago. Most of what I've read recently is that they are good range guns, but folks seem to be hesitant to use them for EDC.

If you're looking to trade then I'm very interested :) All I have is my S&W now, I traded my Colt Gold Cup for an airconditioner

My first 1911, a Rock Island Armory Officer named Lil Pete. Sorry for the photo quality, I took this with my cell and am not much of a photographer.

Not nearly as nice as some I've seen on this thread, but these three are mine and paid for. Colt 3.25" Officers model, Springfield EMP 3" 40s&w and Rock Island Armory mil-spec 5". The two models that was sold in hard times that I miss and will eventually replace are SA TRP and Colt Delta Elite 10mm

Easy to see why I carry this powerhouse as my EDC - very concealable with all the bells and whistles

Les Baer Custom Concept IV (the models changed over the years and what was once a Concept IV is pretty much a Concept III)
