18-year-old mother kills intruder; calls 911 to ask permission

A young woman was on the phone with a 9-1-1 operator for 21 minutes, as two men tried to force their way into her home. She had 2 guns and asked the operator if it was okay to shoot the intruder.

This is a good story to share. Had she been unarmed, things would not have been pretty.

My heart really goes out to her, her husband dies on Christmas day and then she has to go though this shooting. She did well but that is a lot to handle in a few short months, new baby, death of husband and having to defend herself and her baby. Wow!
