I have been a 17 nut since the first one came out some 40 yrs ago. The bad press it got at that time slowed the true potential of the round until reality prevailed sometime later. This writer seems to really like the new rimfire hotrod!
I hope to be able to add one to my collection.

I think it will fail because the 17 hornet that hornady just introduced. The .17 hornet is faster and reloadable which is a important with todays ammo prices.
