Looking for input on 124 gr Xtreme Plated bullet recipe.

I found a couple recipes in a search using Unique which isn't a problem as I have a couple pounds...but would prefer a load for W231 or Titegroup as I have more of that.

    Anyone have any?

Other powder options I have are Red Dot and Power Pistol...

I have the Lee Loading Manual and the Lyman. I looked over on Handloads.com and found a couple. Seems like the majority of the 124 loads I see are for Vitorouri<sp?> powder in my Lee manual.

    Thanks,

hodgdonreloading.com has recipe's for both win231 and titegroup.

Since there is no lead bullet data for that weight of bullet, as always, just start towards the lower end and work up. Find something that groups well and feels good and stick with it.

I have worked up a wildcat round with this exact bullet that I am very happy with. Using Clay Dot which is $140 for an 8lb jug. Very cheap, very clean, and meters very well outta my Dillon.
    3.75 gr Clay Dot
    1.12 COL
    wincherster primer

    These were very consistant.

Clay Dot is a new powder on the market that is trying to be a substitute for original Clays since they are outta business for a while now. No load data available yet so anything you do with this will be a wildcat round.

I ;ove everything about this powder so far.

What gun are you shooting these out of? Do they cycle ok at those speeds?
