I was thinking about picking up a Henry AR-7 at the 1500 this weekend if I could find one, I didn't know if any of you guys have shot these rifles before and how the compared to Ruger 10/22. I know they are not the same as far as tactical ability is concerned but is the accuracy and...
I bought my first gun in November, a Springfield XD. I think the bug bit me and I'm ready to learn how to shoot a rifle "properly." I shot 22's a few times as a kid at camp or behind my Uncle's house, but I've read about the Appleseed program and think I'd like to try that out.
It seems...
Since I shoot my 10/22 more then any other gun I own because its cheaper I'd like to improve its accuracy. I disassembled it noticed there is over spray on the receiver where the bolt rides. I read that some people sand it down the bare metal and polished it and also polish the contact points on...
I am not sure what is out there, but if there is a lefty crickett rifle or similar please let me know.
Either post what you have with pics or pm me with pics.
Thanks in advance.
Just picked up a Ruger sr-22 and I can't wait to shot it. :ar15:
My son shot out my old 10/22 from the '70s and he needed a replacement. I was going to get an S&W 15/22 until I got my hands on the SR-22. The SR is just solid. No plastic, and it is upgradeable with all of the 10/22 parts I...
Lorcin .380 Brushed or Satin Stainless with 2 magazines $140 obo or trade
Sold
This appears to be stainless or nickel, maybe someone can enlighten me if I am wrong. Someone has done some work on the feed ramp, I haven't fired it.
I will need to see valid Indiana DL & LTCH.
$140 obo or...
I would like to have stainless but won't turn down a good blued model.
The Ruger needs to have the metal trigger guard, I don't really want one with the plastic guard.
I have a Hi-Point .40 to offer for possible trade if interested.
Thanks.
I have a 10/22 from my youth (about 35 years old) that I'd like to replace the crunchy factory trigger in.
Looking for others experiences with replacement triggers. Possibly Timney?
Rifle
Had a fun day at Blythes indoor range with my Ruger 10/22. And I had a new shooter with me. She had never shot or touched a gun in her life, and she was a little scared, took me 20 minutes of coaxing to get her to pick up the .22 and have a blast with it. I went through the...
Prefer the metal trigger guard & the bull barrell but not a requirement for the right price. I would like to get 3 that are pretty similar, although I am not opposed to 2 youth size (don't know if they make youth in the stainless). I would also consider 2 Crickett rifles.
I don't really want...
Is anyone doing good bolt mods in the Indy area? Mostly I want the lower rear radiused and maybe the firing pin pinned-down in the front for additional reliability. I might want jeweling if it is really good or I might want it blackened because everything else is black on the rifle.
Before the question, here are a few givens:
1) I am not a gunsmith.
2) I can be an observant and meticulous craftsman if required.
3) I am a responsible gun-handler and know how to be sure that my firearms operate safely.
4) I have a new 10/22 that can benefit from some trigger-group...
For those of you who do not know me, I am woman and this is my first 10/22 build. I will be turning a new pink 10/22 into a decked out purple 10/22.
Ok, first of all, drifting in gun terms does not equal drifting in car terms. And video that tells you to take the trigger assembly apart...
Last weekend, I picked up a pink rifle from Bradis. (I have yet to shoot it...sigh)
I am wanting to turn it into this..
On top of that, I found a case that I want from www.ladiesguncases.com
I don't suppose anyone happens to have a discount coupon for that place do you? It even has...
Looking for a cheap 10/22. Just a barreled action would work great. Already have stock, barrel, mags, scope for replacements, just need "the guts". Would like to find one on a cheap budget. Thanks
Does anyone have any experience with the Muzzelite stocks? I'm thinking about picking up a used one for kicks and giggles. They seem a little gimmicky to me but they look kind of cool. Just want to hear opinions one way or another. Thanks.
