      What firearm project during quarantine?

Building a 300 Blackout pistol. Need to start the process to get a silencer for it but when it's all done it will be a fun one!

Warning: Never, NEVER, add up what your guns & equipment cost

Having spent a lot on guns isn't a terrible thing necessarily. If you're buying quality guns you can usually sell them for a high % of what you spent. Spend your money on quality products would be my best advice.

Harbor Freight Safes - Yay or Nay

They probably have terrible fire ratings. Unless you're looking for a light security safe I would pass.

      Fort Knox Safes

I've heard great things about Fort Knox safes, and I have the opportunity to buy one used at a great price. Before I pull the trigger, I thought I'd throw it out to the forum to see if anyone has any great or negative reviews of the brand. TIA!

      Holiday Deals 2019

I own a couple of their pocket holsters, I highly recommend them! I've had one for 5+ years and it has held up great!

      Current edc of the moment?

Either a Ruger LC9s or Ruger SR40C depending how I want to carry. I always carry a spare mag. SpiderCo Tenacious G-10 knife is what I've been carrying mostly.

      Sounded good on Paper

I think you need to provide more application information. What is your application (bedside/home gun, cc gun - if cc then how to you want to carry i.e. pocket carry, waistband, purse/bag, etc.). Also, do you prefer guns with an external safety, no safety, etc. I own Kimber, Ruger, and Beretta...

      FULL MAG OR EMPTY MAG

I keep about 390 rds (13 mags) fully loaded and ready to go. I keep 1 in my rifle, 3 on my plate carrier and the rest in my go bag. I also have 10+ unopened Pmags that I'm saving for a rainy day or for trade. I like to buy my .556 ammo through PSA, they often will give a decent price for...

Recommend me a new fixed blade knife

Not really a knife enthusiast, but what is the advantage of a fixed blade over a folder? I have a couple SpiderCo. knifes, I usually always have one with me and they do the trick.

Do you carry with a full mag? Why or why not?

I've always carried with a full mag and always one in the chamber. Not sure why someone could carry any other way. I also carry a back up mag, also full capacity.

      Worst gun I ever had

Ruger LC9 (first model, I own the LC9 S and its great). Long trigger pull, not the best accuracy, just not ideal for a small pocket 9mm.

      Muzzleloader Season

Thanks for the info. I have a TC Compass in .308 that I'm using for rifle season, great gun S&W makes!

      Muzzleloader Season

Thanks for the feedback. Why is the powder superior to the pellets?

      Muzzleloader Season

So this is my first year hunting, and I'm addicted. I've shot two doe thus far and have really enjoyed all aspects of hunting. With rifle season coming to a close, I'm considering buying a muzzleloader for the next season. Any recommendations? I've seen that newer muzzleloaders can be quite...

Cummins to cut 2,000 salaried positions in cost-cutting measure

I hope you're right. But when I see the fed pumping money into the economy, lowering rates, and red flags such as an inverted yield curve and rising debt it makes me believe we're holding up the economy with sticks. I'd recommend to my friends and family to be cautious and hedge some bets...

      Intermittent Fasting

Have you considered trying prolonged fasting for a couple days while drinking salt water essentially then doing a refeed meal then doing another prolonged fast? Check out SnakeDiet on YouTube if you're interested in prolonged fasting. It works (for me at least). I was 256 to start the year...

Cummins to cut 2,000 salaried positions in cost-cutting measure

This will be happening a lot more in the near future. The economy is not the in best shape despite what the news is saying, a lot of red flags in the markets and sectors such as manufacturing are slowing a lot. It is calm before the storm right now. Many companies I know of in NWI are...

      Holiday Deals 2019

Palmetto State Armory usually has a deal for 1000rds of 556 with 10 pmags for under $300. Right now they have it for $360, waiting to see if it goes down for black Friday/cyber Monday. PSA also has a good deal for federal .22, 1100 rds for .02$ per rd.

      Deer hunting in 500 words

Glad you like it! I'm a new hunter myself, this is my first year. I'm hunting with a .308 rifle and I've shot 2 does thus far. Few tips from a fellow newbie: 1. Stay warm - I bought a 1 piece camo that I put over my jeans and shirts, that works well. My first time my hands and feet were...
