The nice thing about Bucks and Jakes is that they're open 7 days a week. I think the fees are a little higher than other places though. $40 for the last item I had transferred there.
I've been looking at the Tisas 1911's. Think I'll pick one up this year. Originally planning on the Tank Commander but already have a Colt Combat Commander, so I'm leaning towards the 1911A1 US Army.
Totally understand. Just wondering because I think HCS uses a Douglas 16” barrel. From what I read, the Mod H used a 16” Noveske. Both are 16” match grade barrels that are profiled for the Ops Inc or AEM5 suppressor, so I think it would satisfy the spirit of being clone correct.
Definitely keep...
I bought the barrel for my Mod 1 from HCS. I would not hesitate to do business with them again. Kevin responded via phone in a very timely manner.
It appears that they build Recce uppers so the barrel length would be the same as the Mod H. It may depend on how clone correct you are looking for...
Close. That's a Douglas A-26/B-26 Invader. The B-26 Marauder was built by Martin. The Invader looks really similar to the B-26. To add to the confusion, the A-26 designation was changed to B-26 between 1948-1965. Not trying to come off as a know-it-all, just the aviation nerd in me.
