Ruger MK II Stovepipes after Volq. Install

Personally I would go back to square one. Re-install the original parts and run through the mags and number them. If all is well then put the new trigger back in paying close attention to details making sure all is correct then run through the mags.

We should be relentless in hounding legislators until a Bill is signed OR dies

We all must continue to hammer at the ones elected to represent US. Continue to remind them that we are watching and taking notes and will act accordingly on the job we "hired" them to do.

Changes in what you can shoot at Applied Ballistics in Lafayette

I live just a couple of towns North of here and was wondering how this club was. After moving here a few years ago from NH I have had very little trigger time :( Does anyone know their process for new members or who I could contact to find out more information?

      Mayors against guns.

Sadly this is very true. I am glad the nearest town to me with a Mayor isn't on this list. Living out in the middle of the corn fields has it's advantages.

      Mayors against guns.

Being relatively new to Indiana I was surprised to see there were actually some from here on this list. Mayors Against Illegal Guns - Coalition Members

      GUN SNOBS

No matter how little it may cost, if it goes bang every time you pull the trigger and it is reasonably accurate at combat distances you have done what you could with what you had. As other have stated, we have all been there when first starting out. Over time your collection will not only...

      M1s or M14s in Iraq?

If I can see it, I can hit it with my M1A NM, with iron sights and the old Mk1 Eyeball, out to roughly 600 meters. My old eyes just can't see stuff beyond that now without the aid of an optic ... it's tough getting old ...

      Conversation w/ Canadian Anti

So true, I gave up on this conversation, though I tried to be reasonable, as a lost cause. I will have to send this to my Canadian friends, see what their take on it is.

      Why do you like guns?

Many years ago my sister asked me the same question. I gave her all the reasons noted so far in this thread, self defense, skill set learning etc. She still didn't get it and though not an Anti she was a fence sitter. Then one day I asked her if she wanted to come to the range with me. She...

      Conversation w/ Canadian Anti

The following is a conversation I had after a friend and 2nd Amendmant Supporter posted a picture on FB with the quote "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun". Canadian Anti: the only thing that can stop a man with a gun is to remove every gun in the world...

Are M1 Garands hard to find?

I managed to pick one up when Springfield found that batch of receivers and built them up. At the time I had contacts at Springfield so got it for a great price. A brand new, never fired Garand, I was thrilled. Prior to that the only experience with 30.06 I had was through light weight hunting...

      My best furry friend..

No such thing as a blubbering fool when it comes to losing something that comes into your life and ends up being a very big part or it. Stay strong, you will meet again.

      LTCH Nonsense

If this is the same lady I dealt with when I dropped off my app at the Sheriffs office I agree 100%! She was a pure pleasure to deal with. Very pleasant and helpful.

What to do with an old rusted/pitted Colt Python.

It's sad to see a classic wheel gun treated like this. It needs to be rescued and restored to as close to its former glory as it can.

      Putting a dog to sleep?

I had to do this to a Rot as well. He was 6 and had cancer. I rescued him from a shelter when he was 3. In those 3 short years the bond between us was very strong. The day it was decided not to let him suffer I held him as he went and cried like a baby. The last words I said to him where " I...

New Bushmaster AR-15 M4 feeding issues

I would check the key on the bolt carrier. Bushmasters sometimes have issues with the staking of these and it might be loose. If it is not loose, you might want to make sure there is nothing obstructing it. I have had on several occasions had a case pop its primer out during ejection and it...
