I am far from an expert on roller delayed semi autos & machine guns. It would appear that the Century Arms /MKE Imported MP5 clones are equip with an "unregistered sear" in their SEF packs? I confirmed this with a Century Arms AP5 at my local gun shop, as well as a Zenith clone owned by a friend...
Binary triggers allow the gun to fire on the pull and the release. The forced reset feature of the FRT15 trigger allows the shooter to maintain light rearward pressure resulting in rapid manual trigger manipulation to simulate automatic fire. There is a slow motion video of this triggers...
My sole intention was to get this trigger for my suppressed 9mm AR15, and it works very well. My gun is a Rock River Arms LAR9 SBR purchased back in 2005ish. This gun uses Colt SMG / Uzi mags, and came with a non-ramped bolt. It would appear that the FRT trigger will only work with non ramped...
Just over a month ago Rare Breed Firearms out of Florida released their semi automatic FRT-15 trigger. FRT which stand for Forced Reset Trigger. The performance of this trigger is most impressive, and sure to tick-off the ATF. I have recently purchased one and plan to do a review of it this...
I am still trying to wrap my brain around the DOJ's creative way of justifying the reclassification of these stocks. In 2006 I got rather good at bump firing my 9mm AR15 from the shoulder. I have stated in several forums that if the DOJ adopted this rule change it would be very hard to find a...
You are correct. With these bump fire devices in the spot light when the anti gun politicians claim that "Semi-auto assault weapons" still can be spray fired, that statement isn't mechanically accurate, but is technically correct!
Semi autos rate of fire is only limited on how fast the shooter can manipulate the trigger. Slide fire stocks, Tac trigger, Hellfire trigger, even my EBR 5000 Trigger Manipulator Bands don't cause a semi-automatic firearm to fire rapidly it merely makes initiating a bump fire sequence easier. If...
I would be surprised if the ATF comes back a reclassified the bump-fire stocks as being a machine gun. For one the trigger is "functioned" for every round fired. Secondly machine guns are not defined by how fast they empty a magazine! So that leave us with fighting legislation.
In 1994 we allowed the gun grabbing left to decide that a standard capacity magazine was to be only 10rds.
Now in 2017 we are about to allow the gun grabbing left, with the blessing of the NRA to decide how fast we are allow to pull the trigger? The NRA is claiming they knew nothing about bump...
It is promising to be able to see the light at the end of a shorter tunnel, however I feel that the suppressor manufactured fail to realize that helping the ATF become more proficient at processing form 4's, removes a better argument to trying to repealing the NFA than claiming the HPA was...
