BB gun, it goes 1 step under that where the younger wanabe thugs start...the toy guns with orange tips that look like the real deal, only the orange tips are removed so they look like a tough guy.

Dumb compounded by stupidity. Those 5 or 6 shots hit something. Spray and pray NEVER a good idea but we all know the percentage of "gun toters" that actually train are realistically less than 10% so it's not as surprising as it is simply SAD.
My first thought was…he fired from inside the suv, like it‘s television. Now he and she can hear instructions and warnings. Isn’t that how it happens? I love tv where the passengers on a helicopter talk to each other. Or a shoot’em up where they can hear after shooting inside a vehicle. And if it’s dark, they can hear and see.

That was messed up from beginning to end. I bet that both of their stories are a little different than they reported.
If she turned it to get away from the car how could she pass the car by the entrance, or did I miss read that? Why was the BB Man taken in and not the guy that actually did all the shooting? It ain’t pretty Margret!

Shooty guy was sitting in the drivers seat of his best option. Why pull over at all?

BPD is 2 minutes down the road. If you are going to pull in somewhere, I pick there

    Also, I should move

    Edit: wrong kroger

Which one is the ghetto Kroger?

I've been to the one mentioned above, it's very convenient when making a Menards trip.
Ghetto Kroger is downtown on College and is next to a large homeless encampment. The one in the incident is the "Liberty" Kroger, where I always shop. A trip "to" Bloomington is always Walmart, Menards & Kroger (and rarely venture more "into" Bloomington). It's actually a reasonably good area, and this is the first I've heard of violence in that locale. Really troubling though! And it was at a "normal" time, making it even more worrisome!
