I own the only Labrador who doesn’t like water. He also is terrified of loud noises. When we got him he was already about a year old, and his previous owners were not nice people. Our next dog will be a duck dog. View attachment 333800
I had one too. He'd happily roll in a filthy, sinkin mud puddle, but to jump in water deep enough to swim, no way.

He was also terrified of live, flapping birds. He'd retrieve dead ones from dry land like a champ.

It could not rain for a month and without fail that dog will come to the back door covered in mud.

No photo but saw a bald eagle setting in a tree along 231/2 about 5 miles south of Hebron this morning.

Also saw a possum running through the yard about 12 today. Two animals I haven’t seen in a while.
