    Has anyone here have any knowledge of the new gx4 from taurus that has graphene ceracote on it it looks interesting and I ordered one nobody at the local stores new it was an option and the only videos I have found are all in spanish. I will post when it arrives just wondering if anyone else knew about it.

    Sounds like marketing speak for "we painted it black." I'm sure it's a fine gun. I wouldn't imagine that it'll perform notably better than any other GX4.

    Graphene reminds me of the stuff they tried putting on aftermarket chainsaw pistons. I know its not tgw exact same stuff, but it was for a self lubrication property idea. Hopefully it holds up. I don't think they would "try" on public weapons without alot of testing. Most likely a big winner for future industry options..perhaps the military.

    Yea I don't see it much more than a cerecote really but the standard scuffs up a bit so we will see
