I'll let you decide if this is positive or negative.

I started a conversation with Bwilmington to purchase the M1 Garand that is listed in the classifieds. I mentioned having it shipped to a FFL dealer and never got a reply. This user bumped the sale ad two more times until I posted in the sale ad that I had started a conversation. It hasn't been bumped since Feb 3rd and I still haven't received a reply. All of this user's posts are in that one sale ad. I hope I'm not wrong for posting this here. It's not my intent to flame anyone unnecessarily, but I've been taught that if it looks like a skunk and smells like a skunk, it must be a skunk.

No one is required to sell to you.
No one is required to reply to any PMs.

You made an offer that he apparently did not like. Should he have politely responded that he was declining your offer? Probably. But once again, he is not required to reply.

The seller did absolutely nothing wrong. (except maybe not being polite enough.)

    Move on.

EDIT: I misread it the first time. I thought you said he bumped twice after you PMed him.

If he hasnt been online, he cant reply. I guess he just isnt motivated to sell to anyone if he doesnt come back to check messages and the like. :dunno:

And like my cohort said, No posting in classified threads unless you specifically get the error that their inbox is full.

I don't know you or him, so don't take this personally either way:

I use the ignore list pretty exclusively as a reminder to not do business with someone. For whatever reason, I've decided they are likely to be more of a bother than they are worth in a commercial transaction or I don't trust their integrity or mental stability enough to interact with them further. I don't think you receive a PM from people on your ignore list.

So maybe you ticked him off somehow or other. Or, maybe he fell off a ladder and has been to hospitalized to check his INGO. Or maybe he sold it on Armspage and forgot he listed it here.

Regardless, I don't think it's something I'd be terribly concerned about. Unless it's your ladder and he hasn't returned it.

Internet is full of tirekickers and welchers, don't think too much about it. Wasn't a great deal anyways, join the CMP and order an M1 from them.
