I have been thinking about this, and... I think I know a fairly proportional response that will hurt IRAN pretty well.

Iran has some number of 79 F-14A we sold to the Shah of Iran, 41 of these are believed to still be active. Despite the age, these still -very- capable jets. As they have found creative ways to keep them in service and upgrade them.

Removing these jets would be a unrecoverable blow to their airforce. The way they are employed now is in the stand off role. Using the huge range of the radar sets on these as a sort of AWACs to vector other jets in, or engaging with Aim-54s rebuilt with iranian sourced parts. It would be the quickest way to blind their airforce.

While we are at it, target anything trying to make nuclear weapons... and their orbital launch pads.

I honestly think it is a committee of his DEI hires that is calling the shots. The shear incompetence almost gurantees it is a committee.
No... It's somebody (some people) with big bucks.
The whole DEI thing is just to throw a monkey wrench in the works that way nothing gets done right.

I can't find it now, but I saw a story earlier that released the names and photos of the three who were killed. Possibly edited/deleted.

All Army Staff Sergeants, all 5th Special Forces Group.

Maybe it's time to take a page from the IDF's playbook: take out command and control by taking out the commanders.

Wonder if the drone hit the Dining Facility (DFAC) during meal time? That would be one way to maximise casualties. Throw in command complacency and it would be a situation like the bombings at Khobar Towers and the Marine barracks in Beruit.

    RIP solders .

The story I saw this AM was WAY wrong. When I heard later they were from an Engineer Company I knew the first report was wrong.
The story that spread this morning showed 3 5th group guys that were killed a couple years back. I thought the pictures looked familiar and thought maybe they all just had "that look" but it was bs reporting.

    First report of casualties.........

Sadly 8 Iranian civilians were killed today by a FPOC Operation (Falling Pallet O' Cash) as the Biden administration racheted up its war on terror.
Much like in the mid-90s when we killed more Serbs dropping pallets of food on them than the bombs we dropped.

And now a word from Toilet Brush.....

This administration has absolutely zero respect for this nation's service members. They have no idea about love of country or duty. Every word is absolute BS, to have to freaking work that hard to try and spit that message out...just an absolute embarrassment. How much longer...

Biden faces pressure to strike Iran after US troops killed

"He left our troops as sitting ducks," said Republican U.S. Senator Tom Cotton. "The only answer to these attacks must be devastating military retaliation against Iran's terrorist forces, both in Iran and across the Middle East."

I'm in agreement with Mr. Cotton

Who's money are you wanting used to do this? Mine?
