It terrible to have that kind of money and access to all the entertainment and fun in the world but he chooses dope.
He must be very sad inside. I bet he has never actually quit since his first run in 20 some years ago

I feel like this is presupposing that this issue is recreational, if that is not your point please ignore. Irsay’s issue is pain from injuries he received in the past. So his access to “all the entertainment and fun in the world” is tainted by suffering debilitating pain. Most likely the drugs are to try to live a normal life…

There's always that thought that if a little does some good a lot will do more, but he's getting pretty old for gambling with chemicals. Stick to the doc's prescription with the meds. It's why you pay them in the first place.

I do assume it was recreational just due to the overdose. If prescribed by a reputable physician it seems he would be monitored closely and only just enough prescribed. If he is truly in pain he should be able to get whatever makes him feel better. Im not against medication at all. Im sure with his celebrity status there are plenty of docs that would give him whatever he wants just to be part of his circle. There go the overdose.

Right, again I ascribe no malice to your posts, I believe his previous issue known to the public was prescribed medication to him for his pain that he mixed with alcohol. We know one can still get a DUI with prescription meds.

Just heard that he was arrested for OWI and possession of a controlled substance.
I'm curious what drugs, other than alcohol, he abuses.
He has had problems before his father died. A long time ago I was in part of his business circle. He is a horrible person. That is the nicest thing I can say.

I dunno, wasn’t Michael Jackson’s OD death on “prescription drugs”? When you are rich you can doctor shop until you find the one/ones that give you what you want
