      Let’s talk gas grills.

I purchased a Weber Spirit grill 6 yrs ago, I haven't replaced any parts yet but I will need to replace the flavor bars soon. I like this grill mainly for two reasons, I don’t have to rely on briquettes nor propane, as I connected to natural gas.

      Reduced 30-06

Have you checked out the minimum starting loads for that powder and bullets in a reloading manual? Also what type of rifle will you be using? You might check out Hodgdon Reloading Center online.

      Newbie questions

I have actually broken a couple of the impact hammer style pullers. I found that they take some force to use on occasion. I use this RCBS Puller. Yes, a little more expense and perhaps time to use, but it works well.

      Switched to T-mobile

I think that your location and how one uses their phone is very important in selecting a carrier. A few years ago, I tried Cricket using ATT. Despite having an ATT tower 1.5 miles to the north of me, the iphone lost all reception inside my house. I would have to restart the phone and go outside...

      Interesting FTF with 1911

There used to be a guy on the internet that went by the name of Tuner 1911, I havent run across any of his post in the last few years. He always advocated using GI 7 round magazines, and as mentioned in this thread, the purpose of the dimple is indeed to elevate the nose of the round to...

      30-06 Ammo reload

I found this on on the CMP sales page. This is now the CMP recommendation for ammo. Dear CMP Family, The CMP advises to not use .30/06 ammunition in M1 Garands, 1903s, and 1903A3s that is loaded beyond 50,000 CUP and has a bullet weight more than 172-174gr. These rifles are at least 70 years...

      30-06 Ammo reload

I would suggest that you go to The CMP Forums, it has a lot of info regarding reloading for the M1 Garand. While there you may want to do a search for a user named Ceresco, he has several posts regarding using 110-125 grain bullets for out to 200 yrds in a Garand, less recoil, easier on the...

What High School Did You Go To?

      What Holster Are You Using?

I have used the Vedder for about 2 years. My Sig is equipped with a manual safety, so the Vedder is made with a more exaggerated thumb release which also accommodates the safety lever. At times, that thumb release digs into my leg, and I have to readjust the holster. I did get it directly from...

      Sunflowers

No sunflower crop = no dove season at Winamac F&W area this year, nor is it listed on the Reserved Hunts for dove. The deer have had a feast on the sunflower crop. They may be looking at a different crop for dove fields next year.

      Sunflowers

Deer wiping out the sunflowers in the designated dove fields is a real problem at the Winamac Fish and Wildlife Area. By Sept the sunflowers aren’t very plentiful.

Thinking of switching Glock 19 Gen 5 for smaller 9mm. Suggestions?

You may want to consider a Sig p365 and maybe pocket carry with a proper holster.

Since it seems impossible to win the Appliance Game

I have been reading this appliance thread, and chuckling to myself, knowing that others have had situations with new appliances. Bought a new Whirlpool washer in Mar 2022 from local store... 4 months later, washer leaks over the top of the tub, local store is now out of business. Contact...
