      Shotgun use in new construction homes

      The home I was raised in was build in the late 1940's and I know a .30-30 would not go through a inside wall and outside wall.       I have a S&W 640-1 I have carried it in an ankle holster a lot of years as a backup. They make a light weight 640 in .38+P+. Don't know if I would touch one off as very little weight there.
