      Consider getting licensed

Well, I've been an electronics tech for my whole life, and in part of that was RF and radio. So after I retired, I decided I needed something to keep my mind sharp and a new challenge. Studied for a couple weeks just with stuff found online and passed the tech class. A month later I was ready...

      How pathetic

I've watched Elon since the SpaceX startup. I've studied his history. I believe his main interest is humanity's success, conservative or perhaps Libertarian. He's obviously one of the smartest guys on the planet, and just my opinion, a superhero.

Classic Car Pics. Yours not yours, all things cool or not so cool.

Not sure if you all consider a this a classic, but I've had this 1979 928 for decades. I never drive it anymore...

Gunsmithing: Cleaning up an OLD gun

I love doing this kind of detailed work. I have a small collection of old and antique rifles that I have cleaned up, repaired, reblued, refinished furniture, and meticulously gone over. I have no interest in their value per se except to me. I build display racks as needed just to show...

      EDC Knife size

I have an assortment I periodically switch out, but I find I require it to open with one hand. Currently I carry a Kershaw Lucha balisong. Fairly cheap and well made. If you figit, this is your blade...

      Covid Test Website

A woman unhappy with the accuracy of the covid test developed a highly accurate testing method. Step one: grab a bottle of beer from the fridge. Step two: smell the bottle contents. Step 3: taste the contents. She repeats this test throughout the day, just to be sure

Help...traveling to Chicago, they have vax mandate and I'm not vaxxed

I've been forced to make several trips to Chicago, and always dreaded them. Guesstimating travel times throughout the area was horrible. Since I am now retired and no longer required to be there for anything, I'll never find myself there again. Be careful - it rains bullets there.

Indiana Is Dead Last And Apparently Proud Of It...

Hi Steve, To start with, I was hesitant to take anything not approved. 2/3 of all pharma product applications fail, so there was only a 33% chance of working / or working without adverse reactions. As time progressed, a quick look at VEARS was all I needed to convince myself that this was /...

Indiana Is Dead Last And Apparently Proud Of It...

I'm retired pharma scientist. I'm well studied, educated, and 25 years in the pharma business. I'm not vaxed, I don't wear a mask, and I don't care how many people are around me. My life, my choice - you make your choice. Part of being a free American.

Thoughts on cars going all electric?

Doesn't part of the gasoline tax paid at the pump finance road construction and maintenance? If we were all electric, we would be forced to pay by the mile, and thus tracking and another route to end personal privacy.

Mandated vaccines or weekly testing for employers of 100+ people.......

Every time I read more of these news stories, it reinforces my resistance. All I can think to do is buy more ammo....

      New here

I am glad to find this site. I am an older gent, recently retired, and have to time to play. I've found I really enjoy taking old and "tired" long guns and restoring them to their former new condition as best I can . I've only managed to find a dozen rifles / shotguns so far, but in each one...
