You can fight her over the midlife crisis. She is armed and did vote for Obama. She is starting to see the light but is still crazy. Just so you know...lol
Thanks for the rep! If I remind you a bit of your wife, does that mean I get to help her drive your mid life crisis? It sounds like it could be fun! :)
Thank you for the rep....it should go to those that are buried in those beautiful cemeteries. My dad was at Normandy and was a very lucky man to survive.
Thanks for the rep. You know I would rather be on the front lines with a guy who has made a few mistakes and learned from them than an internet "expert" who knows it could never happen to them (an accidental discharge). Best wishes on the continued recovery.
This happened in 2006 @ 2weeks after switching to an xd from a ruger P89. The main culprit was over familarization. I basicly got complacent from too much dry handling and when I went live with a loaded mag just before passing out I got caught by my bad habit and a very poor disassembly sequence. You see that the XDM has since corrected this design flaw but they are very careful to not to extol it as an enhanced safety feature.
There are thousands of cases like mine but had I not taught myself a bad habit it would never have happened. Never ever pull the trigger unless you intend to shoot what is in front of the barrel. At least my hand is 95 percent functional. just mild aches and minor weakness in the ndex finger. The reconstruction took 8 months with no therapy needed because i was exercising it the whole time.
Thank you for the Rep, Man I glad you are alright!! or as good as you can be, I killed my Dish network reciever with a Glock 27 round the same thing that happened to you over forty years of safety sleep depravation here too, I got lucky only kiled my recevier, I dont like the way Glock and XD's and now S&W M&P's all have to pull the trigger to take apart, I am sure we are not the only ones with storys. Get well soon, and Thanks agian, Gary
