      AK 47 Show and Tell

OP, that is a beautiful gun, just as it as. I wouldn't change the furniture at all, maybe a darker stain, but keep the wood!

Hello All, This is my 1st post here. I've been a member for a while but haven't been very active. I'm a self employed family guy that loves his God, his country and his guns...oh and his motorcycles. I'm an amateur gun guy, and most of them were lost in an unfortunate boating accident. I do...

My weekend carrying while in Chicago.

This is one of the reasons I don't go to Illinois, if I can avoid it...especially Chicago! It feel just like going to Russia, which I have done. Actually though, I felt safer in Russia than I do in Chicago!

Would you use your weapon to stop a stranger from being raped?

Follow-up It dawns on me that this question is directed to a very specific audience. The fact that we are members of this forum implies a bias that I fear no longer exists in the culture as a whole, especially in California, Chicago, DC, etc. Perhaps that is why we are almost uniformly agreed...

Would you use your weapon to stop a stranger from being raped?

I see no other choice for an honorable man. I pull my weapon immediately and without drawing attention to the BG. Then move to a tactically advantageous position and verbally insist that the BG stop or be stopped. Then I wait upon his decision...but not long.

      He missed, twice!

Point Blank Shooting Good Idea jb! A friend of mine is a Montana Sheriff and he taught me some helpful techniques on point blank shooting. It was harder than I thought, and turns out to be something we should definitely practice. The most important lesson I learned was this...in an...

      Advice on first Wheel Gun

Real Cowboy Wheel Gun If you're looking for a real cowboy wheel gun, then take a look at one of the muzzleloading (black powder) revolvers on the market today. Don't plan to buy an antique to shoot, but get a newer version based on the original styles. It doesn't get any more real than shooting...

Buying the wife a 380 suggestions

Another Bersa Recommendation I've been CC for years with several different pistols, but my current favorite is the Bersa Thunder 380. It's small, yet fits my hand very well. Perhaps the best feature is it's ability to conceal completely, with no print. I've put hundred of rounds through it...

      Firearms in the city?

I have dealt with pesky dogs in my area by carrying a CO2 powered BB pistol when I walk or ride my bike. It's quiet and very effective at close range! I doubt that the owners ever even knew what happened. Hehe.

Anyone here Open Carry in Indiana?

Hi there, I may be a newbie, but I'd be glad to see more OC! I have never yet done it, but after reading some of these comments and talking it over with a friend or two...I'm thinking about it!
