      Top Break Revolvers

Does anyone own a top break revolver? I really like the looks of them and have been considering purchasing one for awhile. Are they all from the late 1800's to mid 1900's? Can you still shoot them or are they just collectibles? The only time I've ever even seen one is when occasionally one...

      Ruger 10/22 Triggers...school me!

I really appreciate the offer! I've been trying to send you an email, but I guess I can't since I don't have 15 posts yet. I'm in Columbus - not that far from Bloomington - do you have a shop there that I could stop by next time I'm in town?

      Ruger 10/22 Triggers...school me!

Thanks! I checked out the prices on midwayusa.com and by the time you buy the kit and then the bushings separately, you're only saving about $2. And the kit doesn't include the trigger spring that the hammer kit by itself includes either, so it's probably a wash. I'm beginning to think I may...

      Ruger 10/22 Triggers...school me!

Thanks for the info! Did you end up using the trigger spring that comes with the hammer kit?

      Ruger 10/22 Triggers...school me!

I just bought a 10/22 carbine at Wally World! I love this gun - it's been incredibly accurate! After reading through this thread, I really want to get the Volquartsen bolt release! The trigger pull doesn't bother me (is it possible the newer 10/22 triggers aren't as stiff?), but I'm thinking...

      Sig P238 Recoil Spring Redesign

Sig's website says they're out of the extended mags. I called to place a back order and they talked me into buying three! If you just buy one, it's $46, plus $14 for shipping. If you buy three, the total cost is $108 and there's no shipping charge. The service rep said the mags should start...

      Sig P238 Recoil Spring Redesign

Glad I could help! I just put 100 rounds through my P238, and the new recoil spring is doing the trick! Out of 100 rounds, I had 4 FTEs. Is this normal? I was shooting Winchester 380 Auto 95 grain FMJs. I was also using an extended Colt Mustang clip that holds 7 rounds. (I love the pinky rest...

      Sig P238 Recoil Spring Redesign

I bought a Sig P238 new in June and have really liked it. After putting probably 1000 rounds through it, about every third shot was a failure to fire. I check the rounds and there were no marks from the firing pin. I shot a few more rounds and figured out that the slide wasn't moving forward...
